BLOG a bit
Jody and I went to the art festival at Matthews Park last Saturday. It had just stopped raining and the air was thick but with sunshine. A steam bath. Some of the work was really really good. (I think I'm beginning to sound like little t. help). There was one booth of wire-wrapped pieces that I recognized. She sells at the Beehive in Mt. Kisco. I felt a bit bummed because I can't keep up my work to be able to sell there.
Another booth was a peyote stitch wonder woman. She lives near Woodstock so I suggested she ask if they would like to sell her work at the Tibetan Center. She seemed like she knew Steven already. We'll see.
The first and last booth we went to was beautiful jewelry. I liked her things very much and some of her things reminded me of my work. I gave her this website. She must think I'm nuts. If she's looked already so be it. If she's reading this now, I apologize for taking your time.
I'm having a terrible time keeping this website going. My photography is less than okay and so on.
I have nothing but high regard for all of those who participated in the festival.
Depression won again.
But I'm okay and alive. Just not productive. Getting ready to go to Minnesota to help my daughter bring the grands back to New York/Connecticut to visit. THIS is important stuff!!
